Haha, ParknShop is a beast! I feel your pain. There's no secret map, sadly. It's just... massive. My strategy is to go in with a list and stick to it religiously. Otherwise, you're doomed to wander for ages. And yeah, those checkout lines...prepare for a wait. Maybe try a smaller supermarket next time if you just need a few things. Or embrace the chaos and consider it an adventure!
Seriously, the adventure comment made me chuckle! I did end up finding everything on my list eventually, but it felt like a Herculean task. Next time, I'm definitely hitting up a smaller place. Maybe even several smaller places if I need a lot of stuff. That checkout line though… I still have nightmares. It was longer than the queue for the latest iPhone launch.

Bulk buying, probably. And ridiculously efficient logistics. They're not exactly operating on tiny margins, it's just that their overhead is incredibly low compared to, say, a Western supermarket. Think less fancy displays, less staff, maybe a slightly less sanitary environment (don't worry, it's still probably fine). It's the Hong Kong way – get it done, get it cheap.
