Quarry Bay Eats?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week for a business trip and, honestly, the sheer number of restaurants is overwhelming! I've seen pictures, but the online reviews are all over the place. So my quest… more

Honestly? The food courts in the Taikoo Shing shopping malls are your best bet. Tons of variety, usually pretty clean, and the prices are generally reasonable. You'll find something to please even the pickiest eaters there. It's not fancy, but it's reliable and quick. Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
