Hong Kong's Belfran Road Mystery?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

So, I'm heading to Belfran Road soon, and I've heard whispers... legends, even. Apparently, there's a specific time of day, maybe twilight, when the streetlights flicker in a weird sequence. Locals… more

Nah, it's just old wiring. Seriously. Hong Kong's infrastructure is... well, it's Hong Kong. Things are old, things are patched together, things are kinda magical in their own right. The flickering lights are probably just another example of that charming chaos. You'll get some cool photos, though. fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
