Finding Ming Garden's Secret?

fmd_good MingGarden Restaurant

So I finally ate at Ming Garden Restaurant, the one near the Peak Tram. The food was amazing, seriously some of the best Cantonese I've had in @HongKong. But the menu...it was like deciphering ancien… more

Nah, I doubt there's a secret menu at Ming Garden. Those cryptic descriptions are probably just…the style. Old-school Cantonese places sometimes do that. They're more focused on the quality of ingredients and cooking technique than fancy menu descriptions. You got lucky pointing and choosing – sounds like you experienced authentic Cantonese, which is way better than some pre-packaged, picture-perfect menu anyway!

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
