Kamstore Mystery

fmd_good kamstore.hk

So I was in @HongKong, right? Needed some seriously obscure ingredient for a recipe, and this place, Kamstore.hk, was *the* place to go. Turns out, it's a labyrinth! Seriously, I wandered around for… more

Haha, yeah, Kamstore is a beast. I once spent 45 minutes looking for black sesame seeds. FORTY-FIVE MINUTES. I swear, they stock everything imaginable, and then some things you can't even imagine. Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
