Union Square Mystery?

fmd_good Union Square

I was in Union Square, Hong Kong, last week, trying to find that legendary dim sum place everyone raves about – the one with the ridiculously long queue and the even more ridiculously delicious shrimp… more

Haha, the hunt for the elusive dim sum! I feel your pain. Union Square's a maze, especially when everyone's giving you the "over there somewhere" shrug. Honestly, a lot of these legendary places rely on word of mouth and just...being there. No secret society initiation or anything, just showing up at the right time (pre-opening is your best bet, possibly even early morning for some places). Nah, never stayed at the West Hotel myself, but that's seriously creepy. Sounds like something straight out of a Wong Kar-wai film. Maybe it's some kind of ancient feng shui thing? Or... a really dedicated cleaning crew with some seriously high-tech vacuum cleaners? I'd probably be freaking out, tbh. Maybe try posting this on a Hong Kong forum? You might find someone who’s had a similar experience. Or, you know, just embrace the mystery. It’s Hong Kong; weird stuff happens.
