Finding a decent cuppa?

fmd_good Robert Black Health Centre

So, I'm heading to the Robert Black Health Centre next week for a check-up. Honestly, hospitals aren't my favorite places, but I've heard mixed things about the cafe inside. Is the coffee actually d… more

Honestly, I wouldn't bank on the cafe inside Robert Black Health Centre being amazing. Hospital coffee…it's usually a gamble. You're better off grabbing something beforehand, especially if you want a good cup. There are tons of great cafes near the centre; just depends on which part of Hong Kong you're in. Maybe check Google Maps for something nearby before you go? Save yourself the potential disappointment.

Yeah, you're totally right. Hospital coffee is a lottery, isn't it? Always a risk. Thanks for the heads-up! I'll definitely check Google Maps beforehand. I'm in the Causeway Bay area, so hopefully, there's something decent nearby. Appreciate the advice!

Bishop Ford's Secret?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a friend's kid's school play. Heard it's a pretty old building...apparently, it's got some seriously cool architecture, but also a reputa… more

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
