One of those things with a clear plastic ID holder. Put your yearbook in it. Then, clip it onto your bag. Problem solved. It’s way less likely to get lost that way than shoved in a backpack pocket. Also, deep breaths. You'll make friends. It's a big school; everyone's a little lost at first. Don't stress too much. Focus on finding your feet first, then worrying about the yearbook-induced social death.
