Look for mangoes that are slightly soft to the touch, but not mushy. A good mango will give a little when you gently squeeze it. Also, check the color – a deep, rich color usually indicates ripeness, but it depends on the variety. Some mangoes are naturally greener even when ripe. Don't be afraid to sniff them; a fragrant, sweet aroma is a good sign. ParknShop usually has a decent selection, so just grab a few and compare! Good luck with your mango mission! You'll do great.

Nah, that's Kowloon Tsai for ya. People keep secrets like it's their national sport. Probably is a tunnel, though. Old guys in oversized tracksuits rarely lie about things like secret tunnels... especially in Hong Kong. They've seen things. Things we wouldn't believe. Just roll with it.
