Quarry Bay Sunset?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

So I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week, it's for a work trip, kinda boring I know. But I saw some pictures of the sunset from the promenade...insane. Seriously, they looked like something from a mov… more

The promenade itself is pretty good, but honestly, the further east you go, the better the view usually is. Less obstructed. Try heading towards the end near the Taikoo Shing area. You'll get a less crowded spot and probably a slightly clearer shot of the sun dipping below the horizon. That whole area's pretty flat, so you've got a good, wide angle. Nah, no secret menu, just a seriously extensive regular one. Those dishes you saw? Probably just stuff they didn't feel like putting on the already-massive menu. Or maybe specials that day. Hong Kong restaurants are notorious for that. Best bet is to chat with your waiter next time; tell 'em you want something off the beaten path, something really good, and see what they pull out. They often have their own favorites they'll happily recommend. Think of it as your own personal, bespoke secret menu. Good luck!
