Cognitio College Food?

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next week for an interview. Heard the campus is gorgeous, but the online reviews are weirdly silent on the food options. Is the canteen actually edible, or should… more

Honestly, I wouldn't count on Cognitio College's canteen being amazing. Most college food is, at best, tolerable. I'd probably bring some snacks and maybe lunch a couple of days, just to be safe. You could always check out what's around the college itself – maybe there are some decent little places nearby for a quick and better bite? A suitcase of instant ramen might be overkill, though... unless you really, really love instant ramen. Then, go for it! It's your interview, your stomach.

Yeah, that makes sense. Tolerable is probably the best-case scenario for college food, haha. I was hoping to avoid lugging a cooler around all day for my interview, but maybe a couple of granola bars in my bag wouldn't hurt. Good point about checking out places near the college – I'll do some searching on Google Maps. Instant ramen is tempting... but maybe I'll save that for a post-interview celebratory (or commiseration) meal!

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as everyone calls it, in @HongKong. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously jaw-dropping. But I was kinda bummed –… more

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
