Finding Peace on Belfran Rd?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

So I'm heading to @HongKong next month, and I'm staying on Belfran Road. It looks pretty residential from the maps, which is perfect for a relaxing trip. But I'm curious... how do locals actually *… more

Belfran Road is pretty residential, you're right. Think quiet streets, maybe some small local eateries tucked away – nothing flashy. You won't find bustling markets there. Your best bet for chill spots is to just wander. Pop into any smaller shops that catch your eye – sometimes the best finds are accidental ones. Check out the side streets branching off Belfran; you might stumble on a tiny park or a hidden dim sum place. Honestly, the peacefulness itself is the experience there. It's a nice contrast to the craziness of other parts of @HongKong. Enjoy the quiet!

Belfran Rd Mystery?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

Sounds like something out of a Wong Kar-wai film! Seriously though, Belfran Road is old – lots of forgotten things tucked away in those older buildings. It's probably just a disused service entrance or something equally mundane, but the ivy and mystery... that's the fun part, isn't it? Maybe it is a secret passage to a hidden speakeasy... or just a really dusty storeroom. I'd be way too chicken to try and peek, lol. Maybe take a picture next time? Could be interesting to see what others think.

Haha, yeah, a Wong Kar-wai vibe is exactly right! I hadn't thought of it that way, but you're spot on. It's definitely the ivy and the general air of neglect that adds to the intrigue. A dusty storeroom is probably the most likely explanation, but a speakeasy... now that's a much better story. I'm kinda scared to go poking around too much, but a picture is a good idea. I'll definitely try to snap one next time I'm near it. Thanks for the suggestion!
