Yeah, the Mid-Levels staircases are a trip! Get a good map app – Google Maps works pretty well, but maybe download offline maps too, just in case. Those hills are serious. For Instagram shots, head towards the area around Conduit Road – you'll find some great viewpoints overlooking the city, especially around sunset. Just be mindful of the crowds, especially on weekends. Wear comfy shoes, you'll be doing a lot of climbing! And bring water – it’s a workout. Also, don't be afraid to just wander; sometimes the best views are stumbled upon unexpectedly. Getting a bit lost is half the fun, honestly. Just keep an eye on your phone battery!

Probably just the city's infrastructure humming along. Hong Kong is built on top of, well, stuff. Lots of it. Old tunnels, power lines, water pipes, MTR lines... all vibrating and groaning under the weight of everything. That low hum is probably just the collective sigh of a very busy city. Think of it as the city's heartbeat, not some ancient siren. You were just attuned to the subtler frequencies for a bit.
