Yeah, I figured most of it was probably just old wives' tales, but you know, a little mystery adds to the charm! Thanks for the heads-up about the deserted areas – I'll definitely stick to the more well-lit parts. Good night shots are a definite bonus, though; I'm hoping to catch some cool long exposures of the city lights reflecting on the water.
