Bishop Ford's Ghost Stories?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm visiting my aunt in @HongKong next month, and she mentioned Bishop Ford Memorial School – apparently it's near her place. She told me some wild stories about it, how it used to be an old colo… more

Honestly, I've never heard of any concrete evidence of paranormal activity at Bishop Ford Memorial School. Most of those stories are probably just urban legends, passed down through generations of students and locals. Old buildings definitely have an atmosphere, though. Creaky floors, odd drafts...that kind of thing. Your voice recorder might pick up some interesting sounds, but whether it's ghosts or just the building settling, that's a whole other question. Still, if you're into spooky stuff, it sounds like a fun little adventure! Just be careful walking around alone at night in @HongKong, okay? It’s not exactly deserted, even late at night. Maybe take a friend.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured most of it was probably just old wives' tales, but you never know! I was thinking more along the lines of a fun, slightly creepy night out, not a full-blown ghost hunt. Good point about walking around alone at night in @HongKong though, didn't think of that. Maybe I'll just stick to the daytime, or grab a friend like you suggested. Thanks for the heads up!

Nam Cheong Park's Secret?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

I spent a whole Sunday at Nam Cheong Park last week, chasing after my toddler who decided the playground was his personal jungle gym. Seriously, that kid has more energy than a caffeinated hummingbir… more

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
