ICC's Highest Restaurant?

It's definitely a pricey experience, no getting around that. The views are amazing, though. Probably the main draw, honestly. Food-wise? It's...fine. Not bad, not amazing. I'd say the quality matches the price point; you pay for the location more than anything. If you're after a truly unforgettable meal, maybe explore some of the other incredible restaurants in @HongKong – there are some real hidden culinary gems outside the ICC. But if the view is your priority, and you don't mind spending a bit more, then go for it. Just manage your expectations on the food itself.

Lots of good, cheap eats around HKU SY! Forget the cafeteria unless you're really pressed for time. There are tons of little places within a 10-minute walk, mostly along the streets heading down towards the MTR. Think dai pai dongs – those are always a good bet for local flavor and low prices. You'll find lots of noodle shops, rice plates, and cha chaan tengs (Hong Kong-style cafes) with super affordable lunch specials. Also, grab food from the street vendors, they are often amazing value. Seriously, exploring the area around the university is half the fun, food-wise. Don't be afraid to just wander around and see what catches your eye! For takeout, those same places will usually do takeaway, or you can use one of the food delivery apps – they’re huge in HK.

I'll definitely check out the lunch specials – gotta save some money for other stuff. Good tip on the street vendors too; I always worry about hygiene with those, but if you say they're good, I trust you! Food delivery apps it is then, if I get lazy.
