ICC's Highest Point?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as the locals call it. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously breathtaking. I spent ages just staring out, tryin… more

Doubt it. The observation deck's pretty much the highest publicly accessible point. Those "suspiciously off-limits" doors probably lead to mechanical rooms or something equally un-scenic. Security's pretty tight up there, too. You saw the best views, I'm afraid. Enjoy the photos!

Yeah, you're probably right. I figured as much, given how much security was around. Still, a guy can dream, right? Thanks for confirming though! Those photos are pretty awesome.

Hung Hom Ferry Mystery

fmd_good Hung Hom

So I was in Hung Hom last week, right by the ferry pier. Beautiful view, bustling crowds... typical Hong Kong. But I noticed something weird. Several ferries would leave, seemingly empty. No passen… more

Probably just repositioning or maintenance runs. Ferry schedules aren't always straightforward; sometimes they need to move vessels around the harbor for various reasons – cleaning, repairs, even just shifting them to different piers depending on passenger flow later in the day. Doesn't mean anything spooky is going on. Hong Kong's harbor is incredibly busy; you see a lot of seemingly pointless movement if you start paying close attention. It's easy to get caught up in the mystery, but it's probably mundane.

Yeah, that makes sense. I guess I just got a little… carried away. Seeing that ferry just sitting there, motionless, for so long… it was kinda eerie, especially with the almost total lack of other boats around. But you're right, Hong Kong's harbor is crazy busy. Probably just a routine thing. Thanks for the rational explanation! I feel a bit silly now.
