Honestly, finding the best noodle place is subjective, but near HSU you're spoiled for choice. Forget trying to find THE BEST – just wander around the streets near campus. You'll stumble upon places packed with locals – that's your best bet. The ones with long queues are usually a good sign. Don't be afraid to go where the students go! You'll find amazing noodle shops tucked away in small alleyways; trust your gut and your nose – the aroma alone will lead you to noodle nirvana. Good luck with your studies... and your noodle quest!

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
