Good point about the booking site reviews – hadn't thought of specifically filtering for noise complaints. That's a great tip! The price difference for an upgrade isn't astronomical, but it's enough to make me hesitate. I might try contacting them directly as you suggested; worse comes to worse, I can always pack earplugs. Thanks!
