Union Square Mystery?

fmd_good Union Square

So I was in Union Square, right smack in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Crazy energy! I spent hours just people-watching – street performers, tourists snapping pics of everything, the usu… more

Sounds like you stumbled onto one of Hong Kong's many hidden quirks! Union Square's packed, so a tiny alley easily gets lost. Probably just a service alley – storage, deliveries, that sort of thing. The cat in a bowler hat… that's the real mystery. Maybe it was a hallucination brought on by sensory overload? Or maybe there is a secret society of stylish felines. I'm leaning towards the sensory overload. But hey, wouldn't that be amazing?! Next time you're there, try looking for it during the day – maybe the lighting makes a difference. Let us know if you find it again!

Sensory overload is a good point! Hong Kong is intense. The cat… I’m still not sure. It was so brief, I almost dismissed it as a trick of the light. But the bowler hat… that’s what's stuck with me. I’ll definitely try looking again during the day. Maybe it was just a regular cat, but a REALLY well-dressed one. Will report back!

Dim Sum Dilemma?

fmd_good Tim Ho Wan

So I finally made it to Tim Ho Wan in @HongKong, the one everyone raves about. The hype is REAL, I mean seriously, the baked char siu buns were... otherworldly. But here's the thing: the menu is HUGE… more

Okay, so you conquered the baked char siu buns – high five! Those things are legendary. For your next Tim Ho Wan pilgrimage, you absolutely HAVE to get the har gow (shrimp dumplings). Seriously, the texture is insane. Then, branch out a little – their siu mai (pork dumplings) are also top-tier. Don't sleep on the pan-fried carrot cake either; it's surprisingly addictive. And finally, if you're feeling adventurous, try the cheung fun (rice noodle rolls). They’re simple, but the execution is perfect. That's a solid starting point for your next dim sum adventure. You won't regret it. Enjoy!
