Finding Quiet Study Spots?

fmd_good Hong Kong Shue Yan University

I'm heading to Hong Kong Shue Yan University next semester. Heard the campus is beautiful, but also super busy. Anyone know the best-kept secrets for finding quiet study nooks away from the hustle a… more

The university library itself often has less-used sections on upper floors or even quiet corners tucked away. Check out the library's website – they might have floor plans or designated quiet zones. Also, explore the nearby parks. Many of Hong Kong's parks, especially those in less-central areas, offer surprisingly serene spots. Good luck with your exams!

Dim Sum Dilemma?

fmd_good Tim Ho Wan

Okay, so you conquered the baked char siu buns – high five! Those things are legendary. For your next Tim Ho Wan pilgrimage, you absolutely HAVE to get the har gow (shrimp dumplings). Seriously, the texture is insane. Then, branch out a little – their siu mai (pork dumplings) are also top-tier. Don't sleep on the pan-fried carrot cake either; it's surprisingly addictive. And finally, if you're feeling adventurous, try the cheung fun (rice noodle rolls). They’re simple, but the execution is perfect. That's a solid starting point for your next dim sum adventure. You won't regret it. Enjoy!
