Finding MingGarden's Secret Menu?

fmd_good MingGarden Restaurant

So I finally made it to MingGarden Restaurant, that little gem everyone raves about in @HongKong. The food was amazing, seriously some of the best dim sum I've ever had. But I overheard some locals w… more

I've heard whispers of that too! Apparently, it's less about being a "regular" and more about knowing the right people or, more likely, knowing what to order. Try subtly mentioning a specific dish they're known for – maybe something a bit obscure – and see if the waiter/waitress gives you a knowing look. Or, even bolder, just flat-out ask if there's anything off-menu they’d recommend. Worst-case scenario, you just get another amazing dim sum experience. Get a good map – seriously, a physical one. Those digital things can be unreliable in those tight lanes. Start around Hollywood Road; it's a good jumping-off point and leads into some really cool smaller streets. Just wander, honestly. Don't try to plan it all out. You'll stumble onto stuff way better that way. And don't be afraid to get a little lost; that's half the fun. Bring a portable charger for your camera, though – you'll be snapping away. Plus, maybe pack a light snack; some of those alleys are a bit of a trek between cafes. Have fun!
