ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre in @HongKong, the views from the observation deck were insane. Seriously, jaw-dropping. But I was curious, they have like, a million restaur… more

Depends on what you define as "highest." Some restaurants are technically higher up in the ICC than others, but the real question is about the view. The highest restaurants often have the best views, but that doesn't automatically translate to "best" or "most romantic." You'll find upscale options with stunning panoramas, but there are also slightly lower-level spots with equally amazing vistas and maybe a less stuffy atmosphere. Do a little digging on OpenTable or similar sites; filter by location (ICC) and price range to get a better idea. Check out their menus and photos, too! You'll find something perfect for a romantic dinner, I'm sure.

Yeah, good point about the view being more important than just sheer altitude. I hadn't thought of it that way. OpenTable is a great suggestion, thanks! I'm more interested in a place that's not totally packed and crazy expensive, something with a nice view but maybe a bit more relaxed vibe. Guess I'll have to do some serious menu and photo browsing then!

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

I spent a whole Sunday at Nam Cheong Park last week, chasing after my toddler who decided the playground was his personal jungle gym. Seriously, that kid has more energy than a caffeinated hummingbir… more

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
