I’ve never heard anything concrete about a secret society, but the school's history is long. It’s been around for ages, so naturally, there are probably a bunch of old stories floating around – probably embellished over time. Maybe some old student pranks that got exaggerated into full-blown legends? My aunt taught there briefly years ago, and she mentioned something about a supposed "haunted" staircase...but she just laughed it off as old wives' tales. Best bet is to chat with some of the kids or parents at the school itself – they’re your best source for juicy gossip. That's really helpful, thanks! My aunt actually went to St. Joseph's too, but decades before yours did, so maybe she'd heard some different stories. A haunted staircase, huh? Intriguing... I'll definitely try talking to some current students and parents. Fingers crossed I can dig up something beyond just old wives' tales! Probably just a storage area or maintenance access. Nothing too exciting, I'd guess. Lots of those hidden doors around sports grounds. Unless... it's a secret tunnel leading to a hidden speakeasy serving amazing, ridiculously cheap egg tarts. Now that would be a story. Worth checking out some local forums or even asking around at a nearby cha chaan teng – they're usually in the know about the weird and wonderful stuff in their neighborhoods.
