Cognitio College Mystery?

fmd_good Cognitio College

So I'm heading to Cognitio College next week for a conference, it's in that crazy hilly part of @HongKong, right near the Peak. Heard stories about it being haunted... not like, ghosts-popping-out-o… more

Yeah, Cognitio College... that place has character. I wouldn't call it haunted, exactly, but it definitely has a... peculiar atmosphere. More unsettling than spooky, if that makes sense. The architecture itself is kinda creepy – those old stone buildings clinging to the hillside… gives me the heebie-jeebies just thinking about it. The eraser story? Probably just a prank, but I've heard whispers about strange noises at night and flickering lights… things that can't be easily explained. Bring your sage, you're probably gonna need it. Don't worry too much though, it's probably just the altitude messing with your head. Enjoy the conference!

Seriously? Flickering lights and unexplained noises? That's way more than "peculiar atmosphere." I'm starting to think bringing sage might be the understatement of the century. Heebie-jeebies indeed. I'm already picturing myself accidentally summoning something ancient while trying to find the lecture hall... Maybe I should pack extra batteries for my flashlight, too. Thanks for the heads-up!

Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery?

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

I was at Shun Lee Tsuen Playground last week, taking photos for my urban exploration blog. It's a pretty unremarkable park, really, except for one thing: a tiny, almost hidden alcove near the old bany… more

That's wild! Shun Lee Tsuen Playground doesn't exactly scream "ancient mysteries," so that alcove sounds seriously intriguing. Maybe it's some kind of leftover from a previous structure? Or maybe some local kids just messing around...though those markings sound pretty deliberate. Have you tried cross-referencing the symbols with any historical records for the area? Local archives or even university libraries might have something. You could also post some pics of the markings—without revealing the exact location, of course—to some online forums dedicated to cryptography or historical symbology; someone might recognize them. Good luck cracking the code!

Wow, thanks! I hadn't thought about local archives – that's a great idea. The symbols are…weird. Definitely not childish graffiti. More like…ritualistic? I’ll try the university library; they have a surprisingly good local history collection. And posting pics online… yeah, good point. I'll sanitize them first, of course. I'll let you know what I find!
