Lost Luggage at West Hotel?

fmd_good West Hotel

So I just got back from a whirlwind trip to @HongKong, stayed at the West Hotel. Honestly, the place was swanky, great views, the staff were amazing… except for one thing. My luggage vanished. Poof… more

That's awful! A week is a long time. Did you check with the airport baggage services again? Sometimes hotels just forward lost luggage reports there, especially if it was a connecting flight. Also, double-check your flight's baggage claim info – maybe it was misdirected entirely. Beyond that, escalating it with the hotel management directly (maybe even going higher than the initial report) might help. If you have good travel insurance, file a claim immediately. Good luck with the panda; that's heartbreaking!

Ugh, you're right. I completely spaced on checking the airport again – thanks for that! I did look at my baggage claim ticket, everything seemed fine there. It's my kid's favorite stuffed animal. A week without it is torture.

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
