That's a pretty wild take on it! I hadn't thought about the magician angle...or the urban explorer thing. Mong Kok is insane though, I can totally see someone getting swallowed up by the crowd there. Makes you wonder what other weird stuff goes on in Hong Kong that nobody ever notices. Maybe the ferry mystery isn't so mysterious after all, just a really good case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time (or the right place at the right time, for an urban explorer!).
