Lost in MingGarden's Menu

fmd_good MingGarden Restaurant

So, I finally made it to MingGarden Restaurant, that legendary spot everyone raves about in @HongKong. The place is gorgeous, seriously opulent. But the menu...wow. It's like a novel, pages and page… more

Yeah, Ming Garden's menu is a beast! I usually just ask the waiter for recommendations. Tell them your spice tolerance and what kind of protein you're after (or if you're vegetarian/vegan). They'll steer you towards something good and not totally bonkers. Failing that, look for dishes with pictures – a visual guide is always helpful when you're facing a wall of unfamiliar Cantonese. Or, you could just embrace the chaos and go full experimental. You might discover your new favorite dish!

ICC's Highest View?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

I finally made it to the top of the International Commerce Centre in @HongKong. The views were insane, seriously breathtaking. But I was surprised how windy it was up there – nearly blew my hat off!… more

Yeah, the wind at the top of the ICC is notorious! It's pretty much a given, unfortunately. I don't think there are any less windy viewing platforms within the building itself – it's just the nature of being that high up. Maybe try going on a day with a better forecast? Check the weather before you head back up. Also, maybe bring a hat string next time...or just a really good grip!

Haha, yeah, I figured it would be windy! Didn't think it'd be that windy though. Good point about the weather forecast – I’ll definitely do that next time. And a hat string? Genius! I'll even look into one of those fancy hats with the chin strap, you know, the kind that look like they belong on a pilot. Thanks for the tips!
