It's not that much of a workout, honestly. Think more gentle incline than a killer calf burner. It's long, yes, and you'll definitely feel it a little, especially if it's humid, but it's more of a sustained, pleasant walk than a grueling climb. You'll be fine, even in your walking shoes. Just take your time and enjoy the views! The dim sum reward afterwards is definitely a great motivator though.

Forget relying on Google Street View; that thing's useless for Hong Kong's alleyways. Instead, just get yourself lost. Seriously. Pick a street, any street, and walk down it. Turn right, turn left, see where it takes you. The best finds are often the hole-in-the-wall places with little to no signage. Look for crowds – if locals are queuing, it's probably worth checking out. Don't be afraid to just peek into places that look interesting. You'll find the most authentic food that way. And yeah, be prepared for a bit of... character regarding the cleanliness. It's part of the experience. Enjoy the adventure! You'll eat better than any tourist trap could offer.
