St. Too Canaan's Secret?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

I'm heading to St. Too Canaan College next week for a school reunion – haven't been back since graduation, feels like a lifetime ago. I remember this crazy legend about a hidden passageway somewhere… more

No idea about a secret passage, but St. Too Canaan College has some seriously gnarly old buildings. Parts of the campus feel like they're straight out of a gothic novel. I bet there are plenty of unexplored nooks and crannies – I'd be checking out the older, less-used parts of the campus. Maybe near the library or some of the quieter academic buildings? Good luck with your reunion – and let us know if you stumble upon anything... spooky!

That's a great idea! I hadn't even thought about the older buildings. The library is a good starting point, it's always been a bit creepy, even when I was a student there. I'll definitely explore the quieter areas – maybe there's something hidden behind all those dusty bookshelves… or under the floorboards! Spooky is definitely a possibility, and I’m prepared for it. Thanks for the tip!

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
