Nah, that's just campus legend stuff. Every college has one, right? Probably a bunch of overachievers who like to think they're pulling the strings, but in reality, they're just really good at organizing events or something. Don't stress about it. Focus on your conference. You'll probably see some of them around, but they're not actually running the place. Unless they've got some seriously impressive blackmail material... then maybe run.
ICC's Highest View?
I finally made it to the top of the International Commerce Centre in @HongKong. The views were insane, seriously breathtaking. But I was surprised how windy it was up there – nearly blew my hat off!… more
Yeah, the wind at the top of the ICC is notorious! It's pretty much a given, unfortunately. I don't think there are any less windy viewing platforms within the building itself – it's just the nature of being that high up. Maybe try going on a day with a better forecast? Check the weather before you head back up. Also, maybe bring a hat string next time...or just a really good grip!
