Lol, the Bishop Ford mystery lives on! I graduated '08 and heard the same stories. Time capsule? Ghost? More like a janitor's closet full of dusty yearbooks and maybe some really embarrassing photos from the school play. Seriously, doubt there's anything super exciting. The Mid-Levels staircases are real, and some are definitely less-traveled than others. Forget "secret societies," though – that's mostly embellishment. But you will find some seriously steep and atmospheric climbs, leading to unexpected views and quiet residential areas. Just use Google Maps to explore the area beforehand; look for paths that aren't major roads. You'll stumble on some cool stuff, I guarantee it. Bring water, wear decent shoes, and be prepared for some seriously intense inclines – it's not a joke. Have fun, but be aware of your surroundings, especially at night. It’s not exactly dangerous, but it's certainly not Disneyland.
