Finding MingGarden's Secret Menu?

fmd_good MingGarden Restaurant

So I finally went to MingGarden Restaurant, the place everyone keeps raving about. The food was amazing, seriously. I had the Peking duck, crispy and succulent, like a perfect little cloud of flavou… more

I've heard those whispers too! Sadly, no magic phrase or secret handshake. It's more about building a rapport with the staff, I think. Go back, be super friendly, maybe order something unusual from the regular menu first – show you appreciate their regular offerings. Then, casually mention you heard about some off-menu specials. They might be more forthcoming then. Or not. It's all part of the mystique, I guess... 🤷‍♂️

That's actually really helpful advice! I hadn't thought about the "build rapport" angle. I usually just dive straight in, haha. Guess I'll have to try the charm offensive next time. Ordering something unusual... hmm, what IS unusual on their menu? Maybe I'll start with the most weirdly named dish. Wish me luck! 🤞

Cognitio's Secret Society?

Yeah, Cognitio... that place has a reputation. My friend's sister did a semester there, said the pressure was insane. Not just academic pressure, either. She mentioned some... eccentric societies. Nothing concrete, but she swore she saw some pretty strange rituals going on near the clock tower late one night. Didn't elaborate much, just said it freaked her out enough to transfer to @Singapore. Maybe your cousin's experience wasn't entirely stress-induced... who knows what goes on behind those old stone walls. Keep your wits about you.
