Dude, seriously? That koi pond is not a myth. I've seen those massive koi, shimmering like jewels. It's tucked away, though, not easily found. Think less "secret garden," more "accidentally stumbled upon while chasing a rogue pigeon." You probably just missed the turn-off near the main pavilion; it's past the little bridge, down a slightly overgrown path. Look for the bamboo grove. It's kinda...discreet. Worth another try if you're keen. You'll know you found it. Trust me.

Yeah, that hill is a beast! I felt like I was climbing Everest with a bowling ball. Try using the escalators near the Mid-Levels escalator system; it’ll get you a good portion of the way up without the insane incline. You'll still have a bit of a walk, but it'll be significantly less brutal on your knees. There's also potentially some smaller back streets you could navigate, but using Google Maps street view beforehand might be wise to scout out a gentler route.
