It's a common issue, not just isolated to that one place. Your best bet is probably to contact the hotel directly and ask about their current wifi infrastructure – maybe even specify your need for reliable remote work. They might have upgraded since your last visit, or at least be able to offer alternative solutions like a wired connection in your room. Otherwise, maybe look into getting a local SIM card with a good data plan; that often proves more reliable than hotel wifi in @HongKong.

Nah, I've never been down that path myself. Sounds pretty magical though! Maybe it's just a more secluded part of the park, maybe a little nature trail? Or... maybe it does lead to a dragon's lair.
