Finding a good Pho near Robert Black Health Centre?

fmd_good Robert Black Health Centre

So, I'm spending a month volunteering at the Robert Black Health Centre in @HongKong. The work is rewarding, but man, the food near the hospital is… underwhelming. I've been surviving on instant noo… more

Oof, hospital food is the WORST. I feel your pain. Try heading towards Mong Kok. There's a bunch of smaller, family-run Vietnamese restaurants tucked away in the side streets there – way better than anything near a hospital. You might have to do a little exploring, but the pho is usually amazing and way cheaper than the tourist traps. Good luck with the hunt! Your stomach will thank you.

That's great advice! Mong Kok sounds perfect, I'm willing to wander a bit for good pho. Thanks so much, I'll report back on my delicious (hopefully!) findings.

PARKnSHOP Checkout Chaos?

fmd_good PARKnSHOP

Haha, yeah, ParknShop during peak times is a contact sport. Ten minutes for a basket? Amateur. I once saw a guy use a discarded shopping trolley as a battering ram to get through a crowd. Legend. My pro-tip? Go early, go late, or go hungry. Seriously, the hunger thing works. People are less aggressive when their blood sugar is low. And bring your A-game. Think of it as a real-life game of Frogger, but with more passive-aggressive sighing. Good luck. You'll need it.
