Kowloon Tsai Mysteries?

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. Heard some wild stories about the place – apparently, there's a rumour about a ghost that haunts the old changing rooms.… more

Nah, it's all just old wives' tales. Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground is pretty busy, especially match days. Ghosts don't hang around places with that much foot traffic, unless they're really into crowds... You'll be fine. Probably just hear some rowdy fans after the game. Focus on the football!

Haha, true. I hadn't thought of the sheer volume of people there on match days. Guess those spooky stories lose some of their punch when you picture a massive crowd spilling out of the stadium, all hyped up on football. Thanks for the perspective! Maybe I'll check out a game then, and see if the atmosphere is more intimidating than any supposed ghosts.

Nam Cheong Park's Secret?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

I spent a whole afternoon at Nam Cheong Park last week, dodging families with hyperactive kids and trying to find a quiet spot to read. It's gorgeous, seriously, the views of the city are amazing. Bu… more

Nah, that's just the giant monitor lizard population. They're pretty common in Hong Kong parks, especially near water. They're surprisingly chill unless you bother them, but yeah, they're BIG. I've seen them sunning themselves on the rocks by the pond before. Don't worry, they're more scared of you than you are of them. Probably just blending into the foliage.

Whoa, seriously? Giant monitor lizards?! That's... unexpected. I knew there were some reptiles around, but that's a whole new level. I guess "secret" was the wrong word, haha. More like, "unexpected wildlife encounter." Thanks for the heads-up! I'll keep my distance. Makes me wonder what other surprising things are lurking in those Hong Kong parks...
