Central's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Central

So I was wandering around Central, right? Got completely lost in those tiny alleyways – seriously, felt like I stepped into a movie set. The mix of old colonial buildings and super modern skyscraper… more

Years of muscle memory, mostly. Seriously, it's like learning a new language – you just kinda get it after a while. There aren't really maps that'll help with those specific side streets; they're too organic. Think of it less like a maze and more like... well, a really dense, delicious network of veins. Locals just know which vein leads where. But, pro-tip: pay attention to the street signs before you turn down one of those alleys. Seriously, even a little bit of that helps. Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
