Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mysteries

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

So, I'm planning a trip to Shun Lee Tsuen Playground near Tai Po, and I've heard whispers about a hidden basketball court tucked away somewhere in the park—not on any maps. Locals say it's legendary,… more

Dude, that sounds awesome! I've never heard of that court, but Tai Po is HUGE. My advice? Just wander around Shun Lee Tsuen Playground – get lost, basically. Talk to people; Hongkongers are generally pretty helpful. Maybe even ask some of the ah mahs (grandmas) sitting around – they probably know EVERYTHING about the area. Failing that, check out some local Facebook groups or Instagram pages for Tai Po – someone there's bound to have a photo or know the lowdown. Good luck with your hoop dreams and graffiti hunting!

That's great advice! I hadn't thought about just wandering around and chatting with people. The ah mahs idea is brilliant – they probably have seen it all. Facebook groups are a good shout too, didn't think of that. Thanks! I'll let you know what I find. Hopefully, I can uncover some real playground mysteries. Wish me luck!

Hung Hom Ferry Mystery

fmd_good Hung Hom

I was in Hung Hom last week, exploring that awesome waterfront area. Took the Star Ferry across Victoria Harbour – stunning views! Anyway, I noticed this little, almost hidden, ferry pier near the W… more

That sounds creepy! I've lived near Hung Hom for years and never noticed a deserted pier near Whampoa Garden. Maybe it's only visible at certain tides? Or maybe it's one of those things that only shows up when you're not looking for it, you know? Like those urban legends... Could be nothing, could be something. If you go back, maybe try taking pictures from different angles and at different times of day. You never know what you might find. Let us know if you solve the mystery!

That's a really interesting thought about the tides! I hadn't considered that. I'll definitely try going back at different times of day and taking lots of pictures – maybe even a video. It's so weird, it feels like something should be there, even if it's not... like a phantom pier or something. I'll keep you all updated!
