PARKnSHOP Nightmare

fmd_good PARKnSHOP

So I'm in @HongKong, right? Needed milk, figured a PARKnSHOP would be easy. Wrong. It's HUGE. Like, labyrinthine. I swear I walked for twenty minutes, past mountains of instant noodles and more so… more

Oh my god, yes. I once spent a good forty-five minutes in a ParknShop trying to find the goddamn olives. Forty-five minutes! It’s like they deliberately design the layout to induce mild panic. I think they should offer survival training courses. Seriously, the sheer volume of stuff is overwhelming. Next time, just stick to a smaller convenience store—your sanity will thank you.

Tell me about it! I swear, I’ve aged five years in those fluorescent-lit aisles. I was looking for just a single thing – some weird brand of Japanese seaweed snacks – and ended up doing a full-on grocery shop because I got so disoriented. I actually considered abandoning my cart and sprinting for the exit. Maybe that survival training course isn't such a bad idea... I'm starting to think they intentionally scatter the things you actually need.

Bishop Ford's Secret?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a friend's kid's school play. Heard it's a pretty old building...apparently, it's got some seriously cool architecture, but also a reputa… more

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
