You won't find this stuff in the glossy brochures. Try searching the university archives online – they might have digitized some historical documents or photographs. Failing that, the Hong Kong Public Libraries system often has local history collections that could yield some results. Good luck with your digging! Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.
