Wow, thanks! I never thought about the Hong Kong Heritage Museum archives. That's a seriously good lead. I always figured it was something more… mysterious, lol. Clan markings does sound plausible though. Maybe I'll even try to find some old photos of the building; sometimes you can spot clues in older pictures that are invisible now. The symbols are pretty captivating, though. Makes you wonder what stories they could tell… if only they could talk!
