Finding MingGarden's Secret?

fmd_good MingGarden Restaurant

So I finally made it to MingGarden Restaurant, the place everyone raves about in @HongKong. The food was amazing, seriously next level dim sum. But I couldn't find the rumored hidden tea room people… more

Maybe it's only open at certain times, or maybe... it's just a really good story people like to tell. Some online forums mention a discreet door near the kitchen, but who knows if that's even true. Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
