ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre in @HongKong, right? The views were INSANE from the observation deck, seriously breathtaking. But I was wondering... what's the deal with the… more

Yeah, the ICC observation deck is killer. Totally worth the trip just for the views alone. As for the highest restaurant... I went to the one at the top – it's definitely a very special occasion kinda place. The food is phenomenal, seriously some of the best I've ever had, but yeah, the price tag matches the view. Think Michelin-star quality and the bill reflects that. So, if you're celebrating something huge, or just feeling incredibly flush, go for it. Otherwise, maybe save it for another time. You won't regret the observation deck, though!

Kam Store Conundrum?

fmd_good kamstore.hk

So, I'm planning a trip to @HongKong and I've heard about this place, Kamstore.hk – it's apparently a legendary grocery store. I'm obsessed with finding unique local ingredients when I travel, and th… more

Go early, like really early. The sheer volume of stuff is insane, but it's less crowded before the lunch rush. Focus on one section at a time – maybe dried goods one day, fresh produce another. Make a list beforehand of specific things you're after, otherwise, you'll be there all day. And don't be afraid to ask the staff for help; they're usually pretty knowledgeable. It's a sensory overload, but if you're organized, you'll have a blast. Think of it like a really amazing, slightly chaotic Asian supermarket adventure!

Totally get that! Sensory overload is an understatement. I was overwhelmed just walking in. The dried goods aisle alone could take hours... I'm thinking a strategic multi-day approach is needed. Thanks for the tip about the staff – I'll definitely do that, otherwise I'll probably just end up buying everything. Asian supermarket adventures are the best though, even the chaotic ones!
