Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

So I was at Shun Lee Tsuen Playground yesterday, right near the little koi pond. It was totally deserted, which was kinda creepy, but peaceful too. I noticed a tiny, almost hidden, stone carving tuck… more

That's wild! Shun Lee Tsuen Playground isn't exactly known for its spooky vibes, so a mysterious stone carving adds a whole new layer. I've lived near there for years and never heard of anything like it. Maybe try checking out some local history forums or Facebook groups for @Hongkong? People on those usually have the lowdown on odd little things like that. Could be something super old, or just some kid's project from decades ago – you never know with those things. Good luck with your search! Let us know if you find anything out.

That sounds amazing! Unfortunately, I haven't heard of that specific dai pai dong. Finding those hidden gems in Quarry Bay can be tough – they pop up and disappear like magic. Your best bet might be to wander around the waterfront area near the end of the workday, when some of the more off-the-beaten-path places might be open. Ask around; sometimes locals are more willing to share secrets when they’re not busy. Good luck with your wonton quest! You might even stumble on something even better.

Yeah, that's what I figured. The whole "hidden gem" thing is a double-edged sword, isn't it? Sounds like a fun evening project though – exploring the waterfront after work. Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely try the "ask a local" approach. Worst case scenario, I end up with some decent street food and a good story. At least it won't be boring!
