Finding Peace in Nam Cheong

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

I spent a Sunday afternoon at Nam Cheong Park, trying to escape the @Hongkong chaos. The koi pond was surprisingly serene, a little oasis amidst the bustling city. But I noticed a lot of the older fo… more

That's a great observation! It's likely some form of Tai Chi Chuan, or maybe even a variation of Qigong. Lots of older folks in @Hongkong practice those in parks, it's a common sight. They're gentle but effective exercises focusing on slow movements and deep breathing – perfect for maintaining health and finding that inner peace you were hoping for. You're not interrupting anything by asking, most would be happy to explain. Next time just smile and ask politely, they're usually pretty friendly.

Wow, that makes so much sense! I completely overlooked that possibility. I felt such a calming energy from it all, it was really quite something. I'll definitely try that next time – a polite smile and a quick question. Thanks for the info!

Caritas Bianchi Lodge Mystery?

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

Nah, you're not alone. I've heard whispers of strange goings-on around the Peak, not just at the Caritas Bianchi Lodge. Some say it's just the wind playing tricks through the hills, but... I've felt a similar vibe myself up there at night. Maybe it's the history of the area? Or just the sheer isolation amplifying sounds? Who knows. It's definitely added to the mystique though, wouldn't you say? Spooky, but in a cool kinda way, if that makes sense.

Yeah, that makes total sense. The isolation thing… definitely plays a part. I was there last week, and even during the day, it felt… off. Like something was watching. Probably nothing, but the old stories about the place… they really get to you. It's like the silence itself is somehow… unsettling. Spooky cool is a good way to put it, I guess.
