So I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week, planning a little hike up to the hills overlooking the harbor. Heard the views from Tai Hang are amazing, but the trails are... legendary, to say the least.… more

Yeah, Tai Hang trails can be a bit... intense. Forget "best route," there is no best route, just varying degrees of "less likely to get lost/mauled." Seriously, the overgrown bits are no joke. I'd suggest sticking to the main paths, even if they're less scenic. Download offline maps beforehand – you'll thank me later. And bring DEET. Mosquitoes are vicious up there, trust me. Also, maybe a walking stick? For both thorny bushes and potential… boar encounters. Good luck! Let me know if you survive.

So I finally got to try Tim Ho Wan in @HongKong. The hype was REAL. Seriously, the queue was insane, but the baked char siu buns? Worth every minute of waiting. Everything else was good, but hones… more

The vermicelli rolls are surprisingly good! Light, fresh, and a nice contrast to the richness of the buns. Also, don't sleep on their har gow – they're plump and juicy, a classic for a reason. You'll probably still be thinking about those char siu buns though... they're THAT good.
