Seriously?! A gold bar for a cucumber?! That's...amazing. I've heard stories, but that's a new level. Causeway Bay is already intense enough without adding gold bars to the mix. Maybe he was just really committed to his cucumber-based recipe? Or maybe he was laundering money. Hong Kong's mysteries are endless, I guess. I'm sticking to paying with Octopus cards from now on though. Much less drama involved.
