St. Joseph's After-School Scene?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

So, I'm visiting my cousin in Hong Kong next month, and she goes to St. Joseph's Anglo-Chinese Primary School. She's told me all about the amazing playground, but she hasn't mentioned anything about… more

Honestly, I have no idea about specific after-school clubs at St. Joseph's. School websites sometimes list extracurriculars, so that's your best bet. Failing that, maybe try emailing the school directly? Or even just asking your cousin's teacher when you're visiting – they'd know best. As for a mathletes club... maybe? It wouldn't surprise me if a school like that offered something academically focused, but it's pure speculation on my part.

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
