Dim Sum Dilemma

fmd_good Tim Ho Wan

So, I finally made it to Tim Ho Wan in @Hongkong. The hype was REAL. I ordered the baked char siu buns, of course, and they were...okay. Not life-changing, like everyone says. Maybe I should of gone… more

The baked char siu buns are definitely a highlight, but they're not the only highlight. Honestly, Tim Ho Wan's strength is their consistency across the board – most things are pretty good. Next time, try the har gow (shrimp dumplings). They're often overlooked in the char siu bun frenzy, but they’re seriously excellent. The texture is perfect, and the filling is so fresh. Give those a shot! You won't be disappointed... probably.

Cognitio College Ghost Stories?

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next week for a conference. Heard whispers about it being haunted – apparently, some old admin building has a particularly lively ghost, a former librarian who su… more

Nah, never saw anything myself. Been to Cognitio College a few times for different events, always daytime though. The old admin building is kinda creepy, though – just the age of it, all those dusty books... gives you the heebie-jeebies. Probably just stories. Hong Kong's got enough real weird stuff going on without needing ghost librarians, you know? But hey, a little spooky atmosphere might add to the conference experience, right? Let me know if you actually see anything! I'll be checking back.

Yeah, the admin building is pretty unsettling. That whole place has this…vibe. I've only been there once at night, for a late-night study session (major regret!), and even then, it was more of a general unease than anything specific. Like, the silence was too heavy, you know? Hong Kong definitely has enough real-life craziness to keep you busy, haha. But still, a ghost story or two adds a certain…je ne sais quoi. I'll let you know if I stumble onto any actual paranormal activity! Thanks for sharing.
